Many have switched to using chloramine (rather than chlorine). Chloramine is more stable and cannot be boiled (or bubbled) out. I only learned about this a few months ago. I ended up purchasing an inexpensive filter system, just to keep the chloramine from killing off my beneficial biology. Hope this helps.
